Hey Christa – that is very entertaining. My theory is that people who try to sweet talk online just can’t get up the courage to do it in person…otherwise they’d be suggesting you meet rather than carrying on with text. Thanks for the chuckle.

Here’s my take – Online dating blows!

I agree with what you said that “sometimes people just don’t know how to communicate through writing”.

Case in point, a communication I got from a numb-nut on Match.com. I cancelled my membership after I read this email. Too many losers and desperados for my taste.

Totally agree with you….. On line dating is for people who can’t or won’t communicate face to face. I recently had a friend join a local dating service Great Expectations where you meet people one on one she loves it and they are real people with real lives not married. She loves it….
